The Right to be Delivered

The Right to be Delivered

“…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8 NKJV)

When Jesus came face to face with those who were bound by demons, the first thing He did, was to get them delivered.

This is the reason why He came to this earth and this is what He declared in the synagogue when He began His ministry;

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18–19 NKJV)

When Jesus died on the Cross, He not only paid for our salvation and healing, but also for our deliverance.

Deliverance is part and parcel of the atoning work of Christ and it is our God-given right and privilege.

Every one of us, including believers, has a right to be delivered and set free from the powers of darkness.

And the good news is that God wants His people to be set free!

DECLARATION:

“Deliverance is my God-given right and privilege. Jesus paid for it with His own blood on the Cross. I declare freedom in every area of my life, in Jesus Name, amen.”
