There is no greater adventure in life than by simply living the life of generosity and abundance that is available to every child of God.

And yet, so many of God’s precious people fail to recognise this hugely important biblical principle.

I do believe that it may stem from the fact that, by nature, we are all born to be takers. This is because of our fallen natures that we were all born with, which means that it is a lot more natural for us to take than to give.

In contrast, God is a giver.

We see this so marvelously revealed in John 3:16,

“For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Friend, God is not just a giver, but He is actually generous beyond our ability to imagine.

In fact, He is so extravagant in His generosity that He also wants to extravagantly bless you and me!

So, let me encourage you today.

If as believers, we carry God’s generous, giving nature within us, then let’s demonstrate that generosity and be a blessing to those who come our way.

After all, we were blessed to be a blessing!
